I built a mantle for my fireplace. , The dowel rods were perfect , It does not seem like much , but it made the assembly easy and it’s solid.

I had previously bought a bag of .250 x 12 inch dowels. So I had to cut them to 1 inch for dowels. But the sad part was I needed 96 of them. So I ordered a bag of 100 .25 x 1 inch saved me a ton of time. They worked perfect & fast shipping was a bonus thank you.

I have run across many dowel pins that are simply too large for the specified drill bit size, sometimes even causing the wood (1x3 oak) to split. These pins are perfectly sized, uniform, and excellent quality. Everything I have purchased from WidgetCo has been excellent quality.

Just what I need
The price and quantity available of the 1/4" dowels is perfect for me as I build hundreds of the same project every couple of months. I love that if you buy more, the cost goes down, as I purchase thousands of these at a time. Great product

Two recent orders
Placed my first two orders recently for dowel pins and wood plugs. Delivery was very fast...next day to Dallas. Quality is also good. Would be nice to have someone to answer the phone. Called three times and never got an answer. Regardless, I will order again based on the quality of the product and timely delivery.
