The sheets are nice to install. I actually like it better than the rolled cork.
Druscilla A.
Great product. Project still in process. Costs more than 10 years ago, but what doesn't.
Debbie C.
We purchased this material for a project we are doing for a school, we are building them a glass show case and this will go in the case.

We installed this cork underneath floating LVP in a condo building where we needed the addtional height (to match up to existing parquet), and the added sound proofing was a bonus. On time delivery at a reasonable price.

Free shipping and easy to handle boxes. What's not to like

Rachel took care of a delivery problem quickly and professionally. The cork is better quality than I could have wished for. Thanks.

Great quality cork. Even better customer service . Thank you.

The product was as specified and the shipping was efficient.I like using 1/2 inch cork as an underlayment for finished flooring or carpet whenever sound transmission is a concern. It isn't often that the very best performing product also is the best for the environment.
Tom A.
Good price. Delivered fast. Every sheet perfect.
Jonathan D.
5 Stars, HOWEVER, the panels varied in with by about 1/4 of an inch.
As for the actual functions, absolutely excellent! We put these down on our New nursery floor in attempt to make it quieter and more comfortable under foot to walk on. We also put it on the floor in the kids. Secret hideout. It’s soak up significantly more sound than I thought it would making the nursery very quiet and cozy feeling.

We haven’t used it yet but appreciate the product!
We look forward to using it on top of concrete underneath a heated floor.
Any concepts of this application you could share would be helpful.
We also plan to order more for underneath roof when the construction continues.
Many thanks!

The best product from a 5 star seller! After tearing off carpet on the first floor of my house, I found out that concrete slab foundation was cold and uneven. Additionally, my new Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) was a click-in installation type meaning a softer underlayment I saw in stores would not work.
Cork by Widget Co. was the only underlayment that 1) made the concrete floor even enough to enable click-on LVP installation 2) used together with moisture barrier gave me great insulation from the concrete. The floor feels comfortable and firm to walk on. It has been two years, and I am very happy with my decision to invest into this great product.
I also remember that I was impressed with how quickly everything was shipped and how well packaged it was. Great seller!

I am waiting until I can actually use the cork. I am installing it in our second home in the mountains and that has not happened yet.
I would be happy to respond once I can evaluate the product.
I can say, and I already spoke to Rachel about the arrival condition of the packaging and a few of the panels, I think better panel protection is needed. There was damage on the first carton that arrived, with broken corners (2 panels) and a slight gouge on one panel edge. I emailed images to Rachel.

Love the material the only one I would use in my home

They were perfect to stop the noise between two rooms.

I used this to make a wall in my painting studio all cork board so I could put up drawings and paintings with push pins. It works perfectly, and at a fraction of the cost of manufactured cork board panels made specifically for this purpose. You have to provide your own adhesive and push pins, but this cork board is great!

A number of my fellow Model Airplane Club members have been looking for some nice flat thick cork to use as a building surface for our planes. Your product, when glued to a nice flat 3/4 " piece of plywood or other stable building material, fits the bill and is reasonably priced. Thank you from all of us. We ordered and used 16 sheets of this product.
Claude M.
Produvmct was shipped in a timely manner. I was called the day before it was delivered and called again the day it was delivered. Great product for under lament. Sound deadening, provides a nice insulation between the concrete floor and your feet.
John K.
A beautiful product. The cork is high quality.

The corkboard was as thick as advertised and was easy to install. My daughter loves it in her classroom!
Edward U.
It was a perfect underlayment

We used this cork board as a liner in our old house walls then put sheep’s wool insulation batts. The cork allows air movement and keeps moisture from the wool. The wool and cork together make perfect insulation for our old 1830 house in southern Virginia.
Thomas L.
Super fast shipping. Great product. Would buy again.
Nina S.
The cork was delivered earlier than expected. The packaging is not damaged. No complaints. I recommend.
Jordon C.
Easiest underlayment I’ve ever worked with. Definitely helped with the noise buffing between the upstairs and downstairs. I’ll be using it again. For my next project.
Joseph P.
I used it for sound absorption to make a sound proof window plug for my bedroom window, in combination with 3/4" plywood. Weather stripping all around the window frame to seal any air leaks. The cork really helped to absorb the lower frequencies. Very decent product, fast shipping and great customer service. Thank you Widget!
Jean L.
Great product! Quick shipping, arrived in excellent condition! Thank you!

I haven't used this order of cork underlayment yet, but a previous order has been under a large area rug for a couple of years, just laid down and partially duct-taped panel to panel. The rug never moves, the cushioning is superb, and I'm doing my little green part thanks to this great product!
Michele K.
We use it as underlayment. It is the 2nd time we have done it. It works great! Nice for sound proofing and waterproofing too. We've put it under vinyl and carpeting. I will be ordering more for future projects! The delivery was speedy too :-)
Don T.
Always quick shipping and a quality product! Would definitely order again.

As advertised: .5 slabs of cork, 8 in a box. Speedy delivery and great price. Noted for future project, meanwhile a great support for my minimal bedding.
Rochelle B.
These cork boards were perfect for our sound boards in our dining room/ function room at our association's clubhouse. We were redecorating the interior and needed to redo the old panels. So glad we found this company. The panels were perfect and delivery was fast.
Mary K.
I have only taken out the 1st sheet but it is well formed, no broken corners or chipped areas, no bad odor, color is as expected, size and shape as expected. It held together well with razor cutting, no ragged edges or tearing. Great job
Chris J.
The cork was easy to order with quick delivery. Very easy to install. We used it as underlayment for vinyl plank flooring because of the need to raise the vinyl up. The bonus is it makes walking on the floor quiet.
David V.
Easy to work with, and always great quality. Every sheet is uniform, which makes installation faster.
Brandon S.
Well made and packaged. Will order from here again. Thanks again.

We used 1/2 inch corkboards for a very large circular bulletin board at the Lakeside Nature Center in Kansas City, MO. The boards was flexible and pliable enough to encircle a 10 ft. diameter column in the lobby, while at the same time sturdy and durable to last as a display for the center. We had to cut and piece one section, and we were able to do this with just a box cutter. We covered it with burlap very easily just using a staple gun.

Great ordering and delivery!

The 1/2" sheets sheets were exactly as described and worked very well. A negative was the packaging. The free shipping was a nice feature, and it was impressive that my order shipped out same day. However, many of the boxes arrived with tears and punctures, some of which led to damage to the cork underneath.
Penny T.
Love the 1/2 inch cork underlay. I was going to use plywood as the underlay. Cork was not only less expensive, it was so much easier to install...easy to cut & no nailing. I'm installing new flooring in 2 more rooms & will be using cork underlay again for those rooms.
Tom B.
Good quality cork

Great product and service. My go to source for cork underlayment.

Website was hands on easy to order. Had it delivered within 3 days no hassle. Product came without damage. Overall couldn’t ask for anymore from a online order.

I had painted a mural on the guest room floor. It took weeks, and the polyurethane coating three times. I didn't want any damage to occur when we put the exercise machine (Not, but like a bowflex) in the room. It works perfectly, They said not to put a rubber-backed rug on the floor, so I knew I needed something more natural. The cork is the perfect answer. I will use a few more when I paint the room with the pool table and dart board in it. So many holes in the wall!
Matt S.
These cork panels are great. I attached them to a wall for sound dampening. Remember to apply the glue all the way to the edge.
Jerry C.
Every thing was great from order taking, to processing, shipping. Installation. Our contractor loved it. Sorry no photos, it’s covered with viny. Sincerely, A happy home owners.

My Condo required Cork underlay for tile floors. My challenge was that I live in Hawaii. Widget team offered great prices and a fair charge on shipping. Great folk on the phone. Highly recommended them to anyone needing Cork!

Just installed in my new living room underneath old fashioned hardwood floors. Easy to work with. Perfectly even thickness. Significant reduction of sound to the room downstairs

1/2 Inch Underlayment
This product is really, really nice. Rather than underlayment, I am using it as a wall covering in a basement room. I have been buying products from Widget Co. for many years now and they repeatedly provide quality products and excellent service at reasonable prices. What more could you ask for!

Quality Product
We used the 1/2 cork sheets for a cork board wall. The sheets were all cut very straight and uniform. We will highly recommend and will use this company for any other cork needs.

Why Not?
This is nice quality cork underlayment, sold for a bit less than the competitors, and shipped quickly for free. Why would you NOT buy from WidgetCo, other than the somewhat silly company name?

2Ft X 3Ft X 1/4Ó Underlayment
Great product! The only issue I see is the packaging. My box arrived via FedEx in pretty bad shape. Perhaps this was due to the current high volume of shipments. But, you might consider a bit more packaging protection for the corners of the sheets.
Don M
Perfect Purchases
I originally ordered 2 boxes of 12mm sheets for underlayment in our master bathroom. They arrived quickly and we installed them easily. We had a couple extra sheets, so we decided to re-floor another bathroom and ordered another box- it arrived in 3 days! Excellent service.
Nadia
Quality product, fast shipping
I've ordered from WidgetCo a few times, and both times the boxes arrived quickly. I've personally used the 1/4" and 1/2" for various projects and never had quality issues. Easy to cut with a fresh Olfa blade and straight edge. It is sold as underlayment, but I have used the product in multiple exposed vertical applications in an experimental house. In my professional life as an architect I have also put this product into the specs for a commercial project as tack surface. The edges are not perfectly square, but in a space where the wall will be covered with stuff tacked up, they are sufficient for the price, and I think better looking than linoleum based tack surfaces that are much more expensive.
Jen M.
Excellent Quality for a different purpose.
I am building bulletin boards for a client. This was the thickest cork I could find for the price. It arrived with in 48 hours of ordering it. I haven't started in on my projects just yet, or dug to the bottom of the box, but it arrived in a sturdy box, nothing is broken as I can tell, and its a great thick quality. I will remember this site for future orders!
Bethany A.
Highly Recommend
I ordered the 1/2" cork underlayment from their super easy to maneuver website. I'm using the cork to make my own acoustic wall tiles. The box arrived within two days unscathed. The product is sturdy yet flexible, not brittle and crumbly. It cuts easily with a sharp utility knife... and it's affordable. Well done, WidgetCo!

1/2 Cork Underlayment
Looks perfect and installs easily and made vinal floor quiet.

Just what I wanted!
I am using the cork underlayment as a backing for my dart board, to protect the wall around it. I adhered several sheets of it to an 1/8" hardboard and mounted it to the wall. So far (3 days), it is working well!

Biodegradable Rug mats
My rug pads were thick and nice and soft. They were wool with rubber backing. But they were also disintigrating, full of dirt, not cleanable and heavy. I had to put them into the land fill; a cost for our community. As an experiment, I bought a box of cork underlay to go under my rugs. They work really well - No rug slippage, no smell of rubber, they're lightweight and easy to put under the rugs. The cork acts as a natural barrier to our cold floors and my cats love to sleep on them. Also they've stopped rolling the rugs up in balls at night. They were also much less expensive than the nice, thick wool underpads with rubber. The downside is that they are a bit hard. So Im stillworking on this experiment but if these underalayment panels keep me from feeling the cold floor, they'll surely do the same for you.

Service like it should be......

I haven't even opened the boxes yet, but they arrived superfast, at about a 12% savings over all other merchants. I will post more later, after I am finished working with it.
