To store dried peppers, cinnamon sticks, spice mixes, etc., which I buy in quantity in bags, I reuse small crocks and large candle jars and such, sealing them with corks.
I look for small vendors for my online purchases and am very pleased with WidgetCo. It carries a wide array of sizes and it fills and ships orders promptly.

Perfect fit for a handmade birdhouse. Original cord has been missing and hard to replace for years.

Worked perfect for a project with a ceramic jar
Diane G.
Apparently I measured the jar wrong because the cork lid was a bit too small; however, I utilized the cork lid by inserting straight pins on four sides and they rest on the jar lid nicely. I did not want to return the cork for another because there is no guarantee that I would measure it correctly the 2nd time around either. This will work fine for my purposes. I appreciate the offer to return it but my life is a bit stressful and I will settle for this one. You are a good company and I will be ordering again in the future, if needed. Thanks.

Quality Corks And Service
Everything arrived early and as stated in descriptions. I get a good feeling about the service and the quality of the cork itself seems to be great. This was the only site that had everything I needed to properly size and order the cork stoppers I needed.

Cork Toppers are the finishing touch!

Large cork stoppers
These are great! I bought some handcrafted glass water/juice bottles and they needed some sort of stopper. I measured the opening and was able to get the correct size stopper from the chart provided. Thanks!

Very pleased
I was unaware of this website but am happy I found it. The service of this company was impressive. The pkg arrived earlier than expected. I am anxious to find other products offered. The topper ordered is a very good quality cork.

Need a size 41!
I know, you don't offer one. I ordered size 40 thinking it would not be a problem but I'm afraid with a little pressure the cork could be pushed into the jar. Looking at size 42 - it may not get in the jar at all. The opening of my jar is 2-3/4" so caught between a rock and a hard spot! It is a great product and very reasonable as far as price goes. Ordering a quantity that you need and not forced to order a gross, also a huge plus. I'll figure out a way to put a knob on the #40 and make it work.

Great corks and great service!
I love my new, cork jar stopper! I bought 2 stoppers, since I wasn't sure which size would fit best, and WidgetCo generously refunded and let me keep the other one to give away or recycle. I'll be buying more items from WidgetCo soon...highly recommend both their products and customer service!

Review on first purchase

At last, a replacement that works!
I use two glass bottles everyday to hold distilled water in my refrigerator. When the stoppers died, the bottles were still quite functional and I searched everywhere to find replacement lids with no luck. Then I purchased some cork stoppers from Widgetco.com for some old glass canisters that needed lids and "Bingo!" I decided to purchase cork stoppers for the water bottles too. They fit well and I am anxious to see how they hold up with moisture. But, I am a happy camper. Thanks again Widgetco.com!

Needed a cork stopper for a custom lamp base
WIDGETCO had exactly what I needed. Excellent quality and good price, arrived in a few days.

Perfect, very pleased
Bought two size 40 corks for two vintage canisters (only one had a lid.) They are going to be a Christmas gift so was concerned about how they would look. I couldn’t be more satisfied. I measured the ID of the canister opening, it fell right in between the two cork measurements. They fit perfectly, resting halfway from top to bottom. The cork itself was very nice quality, just right for this type of use.

Cork Purchase
I did as instructed and ordered the cork you said would fit. However, the cork was too small. After already spending the money for the cork plus the shipping, I'm not very satisfied at all. The cork should have fit perfectly and I was very upset when it did not. Not happy.
