Garbage wrapped with edge banding. Nowhere close to any maple I've ever seen, and I've been a contractor around maple cabinets for 45+ years. What a waste of money and the time I delayed my project waiting for them. Lesson learned for $8 isn't too bad, but it's frustrating to be back at square 1...

I Have To Do Some Sanding. Otherwise, The Plugs Are Perfect.
This is not so much a review of the 5/8" plugs as it is with all of the plugs. My problem is that I have two holes, in a maple table top, to fill. The diameter of both holes is somewhere between 5/8" and 3/4".As a result, I have to use the 3/4' maple plugs and do a lot of sanding, careful to keep the circumference round. That's my problem. Otherwise, the plugs are perfect. When I do finish my sanding, I believe they will match very well and give character to the table. It is glad to know that there is a place like WidgetCo that sells unique products like this. Both service and prices are excellent. If someone has some advice to easily sand the sides of these plugs making sure to keep the circumference round, please advise. I'm going to use 180 grit to start. Given that the sides will be hidden, no big deal. I guess it would be nice if I could email the actual diameter to Widgetco and they make it custom. I'd be ready to pay for the extra service.

5/8" Wood Plugs
I bought a wood tool table to use in my kitchen. Because it was a tool table, it had about 15 holes in it to hold certain type of tools.
