Excellent Website I was looking for 7 mm shelf pins in brass. I tried all the usual stores near me in Denver, including a specialty store that Lowe's recommended. The only shelf pins available were 1/4" or 5 mm. I started searching online and thought I could find something on Amazon Prime, but this website popped up in my search. I found EXACTLY what I needed, it was very affordable, shipping was free, and the pins arrived much faster than I expected. The shelf pins I received fit perfectly into a desk I had bought secondhand (originally from Room and Board). I would definitely use WidgetCo again.

Shelf pins These were of very good quality and arrived promptly. I accidentally ordered the incorrect size. It seems I actually need the 1/4 inch pins and have them on order.

7mm shelf pins I received the pins I ordered in a timely manner. Unfortunately they were too big for the holes in my cabinet. I had tried the 1/4" ones already that the big box stores sell & they were too small.. I called to inquire if there were any inbetween those 2 sizes but there weren't any. This was a Pulaski cabinet but. Pulaski doesn't seem to have a website or any way to contact them directly. I called the large furniture store where I bought the cabinet & luckily they had.some in their "backroom". I will just keep the ones I got through WidgetCo as it isn't worth returning them. Wish they would consider carrying a size in between.

7mm Brass Shelf Pins and Shelf Pin Sleeves Built in bookcase from 1912 with missing shelf pins. I ordered the 7mm brass shelf pins and sleeves hoping that they would fit the holes; however, the pin diameter was not large enough. I was attempting to replace the existing brass L-shaped pins which I now know have a 3/8" diameter. Still, I got what I ordered, the product is quality and the shipping was flawless. Given the opportunity, I would order with confidence from WidgetCo in the future.

Check you size accurately I have three cabinets that require different size shelf pins. I first ordered 1/4" pins, as that was what I measured the holes to be in the cabinet I wanted to add shelves to, but when I got the pins they only would go into the hole about 1/8" before it was obvious the hole was smaller. One of the cabinets was a perfect match for the 1/4", but the holes in the third were LARGER than the 1/4". SO, I ordered some 7mm and some 5mm pins. The 7mm works for the holes in the one cabinet; hooray. However, the 5mm pins are sloppy in the first cabinet (the one I needed more pins for) that was tight on 1/4" pins. I guess the pin holes are an 'odd' size (This cabinet has some age on it, but is 'modern', and the original pins are the 'L' shape, with vinyl on the 'L' flat. They slide into all of the cabinet holes smoothly, so it doesn't appear that the wood has shrunk around the holes with some aging.) I guess my only option is to drill out the holes where I want to put additional shelves, so they'll fit the 1/4" pins. Overall, the quality of the different pins is good. I've just got more pins than what I need now, but the cost for return shipping doesn't make it worth returning them.

Holy Widgets, Batman! There I was with stuff, a cabinet, new shelving and ready to go when I realized shelf pins come in two sizes and the "other company" packed the wrong ones.
